Common Questions

Do I need a real estate lawyer?

Missouri does not require a real estate attorney for transactions. That said, should legal questions arise, consulting or retaining legal counsel is always an option, as real estate agents licensed in Missouri are not permitted to offer legal advice.

What is the difference between a Buyer's and Seller's Market?

In a Buyer's Market, the demand is less than the supply--there are more homes than buyers, giving buyers the advantage.  In a Seller's Market, the supply is less than the demand from Buyers-there are not enough properties, making the hunt more competitive and driving prices up.

How will you find potential buyers/renters for my property?

When finding buyers for listings, I take a multi-pronged approach:

  • Create individualized social media ad campaigns specific to your home for Facebook, Instagram and other social media avenues

  • Promote listings via the CBOR multiple listing service (MLS), on agent list serves and in-house

  • Leverage the power of the House of Brokers Team-40+ years as Columbia's premier independently-owned brokerage

  •  Capture real estate buyer leads via landing pages

  • Advertise on Zillow, Realtor.com and other national search engines
