Summertime Fun Ahead!
Updated: Jun 3, 2022
Whether or not you are planning to sell your home right now, here are some warm-weather tasks that make sense to get completed this summer:
First, inspect the exterior of your home. Make note of all repairs or touch-ups needed.

Did the gutters drip with spring rain? Seal up those seams yourself or hire a handyman. Properly functioning gutters are an integral part of your home’s drainage system.

Clean out your garage, organize your tools and lubricate the garage door rollers. Use graphite dust or spray those joints to ease stress on the moving parts.

Weed flower beds and add mulch to control weeds and hold moisture.

Get your irrigation system serviced and inspect the sprinkler heads. Set timer for optimal watering times.

Ceiling fans should be forcing the cooler air up. Those fan blades might need cleaning too!

Wash down decks, patios, and patio furniture. Touch up paint as needed.

Freshen up tired outdoor furniture cushions with new ones. A quick spray with products containing both sun and water shield can extend the life of those cushions.

I hope these tips help you be efficient and create better spaces for you to enjoy the summer!
